YARN stands for Yet Another Resource Negotiator.
YARN, introduced in Hadoop 2, is Hadoop's cluster resource management layer. It separates resource management and job scheduling from data processing: a global ResourceManager allocates cluster resources, NodeManagers run on each machine, and a per-application ApplicationMaster negotiates resources for its job.
Since its role is negotiating resources, not navigating repositories, research or registers, the other expansions are wrong.
