Which was the first milk powder plant in India?
Answer: A
It was the Kheda district cooperative milk producers union.
Amul at Anand set up the world's first plant to make milk powder from buffalo milk, which the received wisdom of the time said could not be done. Verghese Kurien and H. M. Dalaya solved it, and the cooperative model spread from there.
