Dr. Rabindranth Tagore received the Nobel Prize for his work
Answer: C
He received it for Gitanjali.
The 1913 prize cited his profoundly sensitive, fresh and beautiful verse, by which he had made his poetic thought a part of the literature of the West. The English Gitanjali, published in 1912 with an introduction by W.B. Yeats, was his own prose rendering of poems from several Bengali collections.
