How many times was Mahatma Gandhi nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize?
Answer: B
He was nominated five times.
Gandhi was nominated in 1937, 1938, 1939, 1947 and finally in January 1948, days before his assassination. The prize is not awarded posthumously, and the Nobel Committee made no award that year, saying there was no suitable living candidate.
