Split complementary colour scheme uses :
Answer: C
A split complementary scheme uses adjacent colours to the opposite colour.
It takes one base colour and, instead of its direct complement, the two colours on either side of that complement on the colour wheel. Yellow with red-violet and blue-violet is an example. It keeps strong contrast but is easier to balance than a straight complementary scheme.
'Opposite colours' describes a simple complementary scheme, adjacent colours an analogous scheme, and non-adjacent colours could mean any scheme, so none of them is the split complementary.
