Which feature indicates a particularly vigorous updraught on satellite imagery?
Answer: C
An updraught vigorous enough to overshoot its equilibrium level appears as a bump above the otherwise flat anvil and indicates a storm capable of severe weather. Its temperature is often colder than the surrounding anvil. A warming cloud top indicates a weakening storm, and a smooth anvil is the mature or decaying state.
