Which of the following is not a radiometric correction used in image processing when there is interference with the radiance measured by an instrument ?
Answer: B
The one that is not a radiometric correction is Ozone depletion correction.
Radiometric corrections remove errors in the brightness values recorded by a sensor. They include removing sensor noise such as striping and dropped lines, correcting for sun elevation angle and illumination, and atmospheric corrections such as haze removal, which subtracts the light scattered into the sensor's view.
Ozone depletion is an atmospheric phenomenon studied with remote sensing (for example by ozone-mapping instruments), not a standard correction applied to images, so it is the odd one out.
