The International Day of Forests is on 21 March.
The United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 21 March as the International Day of Forests in 2012, and it has been observed since 2013 to raise awareness of the importance of all types of forests.
21 June is International Yoga Day, and the other dates are not the forest day. 21 March falls close to the March equinox, which helps to remember it, and each year's observance has a theme chosen by the Collaborative Partnership on Forests.
