When is the 'International Earth Day' celebrated?
Answer: C
International Earth Day is celebrated on 22nd April.
Earth Day was first observed on 22 April 1970 in the United States, at the initiative of Senator Gaylord Nelson, to raise awareness of pollution and environmental protection. It became international in 1990, and in 2009 the UN General Assembly designated 22 April as International Mother Earth Day. The Paris Agreement on climate change was signed on Earth Day 2016.
5th June is World Environment Day, set by the UN in 1972. 20th April and 3rd March are not Earth Day; 3rd March is World Wildlife Day.
