Who among the following invented Zero?
Answer: D
It was an unknown Indian.
The Bakhshali manuscript and the Gwalior inscription of 876 show zero as a place-holder and a number, but no individual can be credited with it. Brahmagupta first set out its arithmetic in 628; Aryabhata used the place-value system without a symbol for zero.
