According to the beliefs of the Pasupata sect, Siva is the lord of Pasu. Pasu here refers to __?
Answer: D
Pashu here means jiva, the individual soul.
In Pashupata doctrine Shiva is Pati, the lord; the bound soul is pashu, the beast; and pasha is the fetter of ignorance and karma that binds it. Release consists in the soul's union with the lord.
