Which of the following features of Indian temples resembles pylons of the Egyptian temples?
Answer: C
It is the gopura.
The gopuram is the great gateway tower of a south Indian temple, tapering as it rises, set in the enclosure wall rather than over the sanctum - the same role, and much the same profile, as the pylon of an Egyptian temple.
