Which of the following is regarded as Unorganised Sector of Indian banking institutions
Answer: D
Indigenous bankers belong to the unorganised sector of Indian banking. They are private individuals and firms, such as shroffs and money-lenders, who receive deposits and lend money without being under the full regulatory control of the Reserve Bank. Commercial banks, co-operative banks and regional rural banks are all part of the organised sector, which is regulated by the Reserve Bank and the related laws.
