NAFED stands for National Agricultural Co-operative Marketing Federation (of India).
Founded in 1958, NAFED is the apex organisation of marketing cooperatives for agricultural produce. It procures pulses, oilseeds and other crops at minimum support prices and helps market farmers' produce.
The other expansions change 'Agricultural' to 'Animal' or 'Marketing' to 'Management'; NAFED deals with marketing of agricultural produce.
