Solar energy received to earth takes:
Answer: C
Sunlight takes about eight minutes to reach the earth.
\[t = \frac{d}{c} = \frac{1.5\times10^{11}}{3\times10^{8}} = 500\ \mathrm{s}\] which is 8 minutes 20 seconds. We therefore always see the sun as it was eight minutes ago.
