Which of the following non-metallic minerals is found in Rajasthan?
Answer: C
The non-metallic mineral is Calcite.
Calcite is calcium carbonate (CaCO3), an industrial non-metallic mineral used in cement, paint, paper and fillers. Rajasthan is one of the states where it is mined.
Copper, silver and iron are metals, so their ores are metallic minerals, even though Rajasthan mines copper at Khetri and silver with lead and zinc at Zawar and Rampura-Agucha.
