Who is the author of Kitab-fi-Tahqiq-ma-lil-Hind?

It is by Alberuni.
Kitab-fi-Tahqiq-ma-lil-Hind, usually called Kitab-ul-Hind, was written about 1030 after years of study in India. Al-Biruni learned Sanskrit and read the texts himself, and set out to describe Indian religion, science and custom without polemic.
