Which Vedic Texts gives a systematic exposition of the ‘theory of rebirth’ for the first time?
Answer: A
It is the Chhandogya Upanishad.
Its fifth chapter gives the panchagni vidya, the doctrine of the five fires, tracing the soul's passage after death and its return through rain, plant, food and seed - the first systematic statement of rebirth, together with the two paths of devayana and pitriyana.
