In which year did the Princely state of Jaipur sign the subsidiary alliance?
Answer: B
Jaipur signed the subsidiary alliance in 1818.
After the Third Anglo-Maratha War the East India Company concluded treaties of subordinate alliance with almost all the Rajput states in 1817 and 1818. Jaipur's treaty was signed in April 1818, one of the last; Karauli and Kota were among the first states to sign in 1817.
1817 is the year the series of treaties began, and 1819 and 1820 are after Jaipur had already signed.
