In any State of India , Legislative Council can be created or abolished :
Answer: D
A legislative council is created or abolished by Parliament, on a resolution of the state's legislative assembly.
Article 169 requires the assembly to pass the resolution by a majority of its total membership and two-thirds of those present and voting; Parliament then legislates. Only six states currently have a council.
