Which Act about equal pay for equal work for both men and women?
Answer: D
The principle of equal pay for equal work for both men and women is in Article 39(d) of the Constitution, one of the Directive Principles of State Policy. Article 39(a) is about an adequate means of livelihood, 39(b) is about the distribution of material resources and 39(c) about avoiding the concentration of wealth. The Equal Remuneration Act, 1976 gave effect to the principle, and the question's word 'Act' is a loose use for an article.
