Under which section of the Act, State of Rajasthan was formed?
Answer: C
The keyed answer is Section-10.
The present State of Rajasthan took shape on 1 November 1956 under the States Reorganisation Act, 1956, which added the former Part C state of Ajmer, the Abu Road taluk of Bombay and the Sunel Tappa of Madhya Bharat to the existing state, and transferred Sironj to Madhya Pradesh. The provision forming the new Rajasthan is Section 10 of the Act.
Sections 4, 5 and 9 of the Act are not the provision that forms Rajasthan, so they are not the answer.
