SWAYAM stands for Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds.
SWAYAM is the Government of India's platform for massive open online courses (MOOCs), launched in 2017, offering courses from school to postgraduate level free of charge, with credit transfer possible for many of them.
The other expansions change 'Study Webs' to 'School Webs' or 'Study Websites', 'Active-Learning' to 'Action-Learning', or 'Minds' to 'Maps'; only option D is the official name.
