Which is not the official language of the United Nations ?
Answer: B
The language that is not official at the United Nations is Japanese.
The UN has six official languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish. Five date from the organisation's early years, and Arabic was added in 1973.
Russian, Spanish and Arabic are all on that list. Japan is one of the largest contributors to the UN budget, which is why Japanese can look like a likely official language, but it has never been one.
