What did Thomas Davenport invent?
Answer: B
He invented the electric streetcar.
Thomas Davenport, a Vermont blacksmith, built the first practical direct-current electric motor in 1834 and used it to run a small electric car on a circular track - the first electric railway, though batteries made it uneconomic at the time.
