What did Sir Isaac Newton invent?
Answer: B
Newton invented the reflecting telescope.
He built it in 1668, using a curved mirror instead of a lens to avoid the coloured fringing that refractors suffered. Every large telescope since has used mirrors. The marine chronometer was John Harrison's work.
