Which of the following is a limitation of CAD in landscape architecture?
Answer: A
The limitation of CAD is that a design cannot be formed without knowledge. The software only draws what the designer specifies, so landscape knowledge is still required.
Easy correction of drawing errors, reuse of designs and safe storage are advantages of CAD, so options B, C and D are not limitations.
CAD does not replace the knowledge of the designer: someone must know plants, soil, drainage and design before drawing. Faster correction, reuse and safe storage of designs are advantages of the software.
