For healthy lawns, which of the following is the best method of irrigation?

Sprinkler irrigation is the best method for lawns, because it gives a uniform light spray over the whole grass cover and can be timed.
Flooding wastes water and causes uneven wetting, drip does not cover a continuous turf, and a funnel system is not a lawn irrigation method.
Lawns need uniform, light and frequent watering over the whole area, and a sprinkler gives this without flooding. Flood irrigation gives uneven wetting and damages the surface.
