The incorrect statement is 'Stylistics cannot be applied to discourse analysis and literary criticism'.
The last paragraph of the passage says the opposite: stylistics 'can be applied to areas such as discourse analysis as well as literary criticism'. The opening paragraph adds that, as a discipline, stylistics 'links literary criticism to linguistics'.
The other three statements follow the passage. It defines stylistics as the study of 'texts of all types and/or spoken language', so it covers written and verbal language. Its sources range from canonical works to advertising copy and news, so it applies to literary and popular texts alike, and it deals with dialects, registers and regional accents.
