The tagline belongs to ASLIB.
ASLIB, founded in Britain in 1924 as the Association of Special Libraries and Information Bureaux, later styled itself The Association for Information Management and used the line managing information as its tagline; its members' magazine was also called Managing Information.
IFLA is the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions, ALA the American Library Association and ILA the Indian Library Association; none of them used this tagline, which reflects ASLIB's focus on information management in organisations.
