RUSA, the Reference and User Services Association, is a division of the American Library Association. It deals with reference and information services, readers' advisory, collection development for users and interlibrary loan, and publishes the journal Reference & User Services Quarterly and guidelines for reference behaviour.
CILIP is the British professional body, UNESCO the UN's educational, scientific and cultural agency, and WIPO the World Intellectual Property Organization; RUSA belongs to none of them.
