Four of the following ve are alike in a certain way based on their seating positions in the above line and so form a group. Which is the one that does not belong to the group?
Answer: B
Correct answer: XV
All seven face north, so right means east. W sits five places to T’s right and not at an end, which puts T first and W sixth. Y is exactly in the middle, fourth, and U three places to Y’s right, seventh. Z must be three places from X and not beside Y, which leaves only one filling. From left to right the row reads T, Z, V, Y, X, W, U.
In UW, ZT, YV and WX the two named sit side by side. X and V have Y between them, so that pair does not belong.
