Which one of the following is the correct position of Mercedes ?

Correct answer: Fourth to the right of Maruti.
Fiat stands at one end with Ambassador three places to its right; Fargo is four to Fiat’s right and Cadillac next beyond it. Maruti must lie between Ambassador and Bedford, which fills the two remaining places near the Fiat end, and Mercedes takes the last. From left to right the line reads Fiat, Bedford, Maruti, Ambassador, Fargo, Cadillac, Mercedes.
Maruti stands third and Mercedes seventh, so Mercedes is fourth to Maruti’s right. It is not next to Cadillac’s left, nor beside Bedford, nor between Bedford and Fargo.
