______ is a satellite based tracking system that enables the determination of person's position.
Answer: D
The satellite-based tracking system that determines a person's position is the Global Positioning System.
GPS uses signals from a network of satellites, and a receiver works out its position from the time the signals take to arrive. Bluetooth (A) is a short-range wireless link, WAP (B) is a protocol that lets mobile phones use web content, and the Short Message Service (C) carries text messages, so none of the three tracks position by satellite.
