For the following words which would be a meaningful order?
(i) Seed (ii) Flower (iii) Soil (iv) Plant (v) Fruit
Answer: C
The meaningful order is (iii), (i), (iv), (ii), (v).
A plant's life follows soil, seed, plant, flower, fruit: the seed is sown in the soil, grows into a plant, the plant flowers, and the flower develops into the fruit.
The other two orders start with the plant or the flower and end with the soil, which reverses the growth sequence, so 'None of these' is also wrong.
Questions of this kind test logical sequence, so look for the natural starting point (here the soil) and then follow cause and effect.
