Correct answer: Issue the show cdp neighbors detail command on the router connected to the switch.
CDP is the tool for discovering a directly connected Cisco device you cannot otherwise reach. The plain show cdp neighbors gives the device identifier, the local and remote ports, the platform and the capabilities - but not the address. Adding detail includes the neighbour’s IP address and IOS version, which is exactly what is wanted here. show cdp entry * gives the same information.
