The following equation is incorrect. Which two signs should be interchanged to correct the equation?
1 ÷ 14 x 30 + 20 - 10 = 12

Correct answer: + and ÷
Exchanging + and ÷ gives \( 1 + 14 \times 30 \div 20 - 10 \), which works out as \[ 1 + 21 - 10 = \mathbf{12} \]
