You have got a bunch of digital holiday photo you want to put into a slide show. What the quickest method?

Correct answer: On the insert menu, point the picture and click new photo album
Insert → Picture → New Photo Album takes a whole folder of images at once, puts them on slides at the number per slide you choose, and can add frames and captions - the entire show is built in one dialog. Inserting the pictures one file at a time, or laying them out by hand, does the same work far more slowly.
