Which is the best view for getting your thoughts for a presentation out on the computer?

Correct answer: Outline view
Outline view strips the deck down to its text - titles at the left margin, bullet levels indented beneath - so ideas can be typed straight in, promoted, demoted and re-ordered without any concern for design. Getting the argument down first, and formatting later, is exactly what it is for.
