Which beach in India became the first beach in Asia to get Blue Flag certification ?

The first beach in Asia with Blue Flag certification was Chandrabhaga beach.
Chandrabhaga beach near the Sun Temple at Konark in Odisha was the first beach in Asia to receive the Blue Flag, the international eco-label awarded by the Foundation for Environmental Education for clean, safe and environmentally well-managed beaches.
Marina beach in Chennai and Gopalpur beach in Odisha have not received this distinction, and Gokarna's beaches were not the first in Asia to do so.
