NRHM was started in 2005.
The National Rural Health Mission was launched on 12 April 2005 to provide accessible, affordable and quality health care to the rural population, especially in states with weak health indicators. It introduced the ASHA worker, Janani Suraksha Yojana and the Rogi Kalyan Samitis.
In 2013 it became a sub-mission of the National Health Mission, alongside the National Urban Health Mission. 2006, 2007 and 2009 are wrong.
