The main limitations of Manchester encoding is :
Answer: A
The main limitation is the higher baud rate.
Manchester encoding puts a transition in the middle of every bit, low-to-high for one value and high-to-low for the other. This makes the signal self-clocking and free of a DC component, but the signal can change twice per bit, so the baud rate is twice the bit rate and the encoding needs about twice the bandwidth of a simple NRZ code. Classic 10 Mbit/s Ethernet signals at 20 Mbaud.
Attenuation depends on the medium and frequency, not on the coding as such, and Manchester encoding gives a higher rather than a lower clocking rate.
