What will be the output of the program?
import java.util.*;
public class Example29
{
public static void main(String[] args)
{
List<Integer> l = new ArrayList<Integer>(
Arrays.asList(1, 2, 2, 3));
System.out.println(Collections.frequency(l, 2));
}
}
Answer: A
frequency counts how many elements equal the given value, comparing with equals, so the two occurrences of 2 give 2. It scans the whole collection rather than stopping at the first match, which is what distinguishes it from contains or indexOf.
