What will be the output of the program?
import java.util.*;
public class Fragment64
{
public static void main(String[] args)
{
List<String> l = new ArrayList<String>();
l.add(null);
l.add(null);
System.out.println(
l.size() + " " + l.contains(null) + " " + l.indexOf(null));
}
}
Answer: D
An ArrayList accepts nulls like any other element and does not collapse them, so two adds give a size of 2. contains and indexOf both handle a null argument, reporting that it is present at position 0. A TreeSet or a Hashtable would have refused the null outright.
