Find the odd man out. 6, 9, 15, 21, 24, 28, 30
Answer: A
Every number here is a multiple of 3 except one.
\[ 6,\; 9,\; 15,\; 21,\; 24,\; 30 \;\text{are all divisible by 3} \]
\[ 28 = 3 \times 9 + 1 \]
So 28 is the odd man out. Its digit sum is 10, which is not divisible by 3 - the quickest test.
