Which of the following activities is considered organised crime under Section 111 Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 ?
Answer: D
The answer is All of the above.
Section 111 of the BNS defines organised crime as any continuing unlawful activity, by a member of or on behalf of an organised crime syndicate, including kidnapping, robbery, vehicle theft, extortion, land grabbing, contract killing, economic offences, cyber-crimes, trafficking of persons, drugs, weapons or illicit goods, and human trafficking for prostitution or ransom.
Kidnapping for ransom, vehicle theft and human trafficking for prostitution are all on that list, so no single option is complete.
