A proposal when accepted becomes
Answer: A
A proposal when accepted becomes a promise.
Section 2(b) of the Indian Contract Act says: when the person to whom the proposal is made signifies his assent, the proposal is said to be accepted, and a proposal, when accepted, becomes a promise.
The other terms are later steps in the chain. Every promise and set of promises forming consideration for each other is an agreement (Section 2(e)), and an agreement enforceable by law is a contract (Section 2(h)). Consent (Section 13) is agreeing on the same thing in the same sense, not the result of acceptance.
