A sheet of paper is shown below:

If the sheet is folded to form a closed box, which number will be on the opposite face of 6?
Answer: A
The face opposite 6 is 2.
In a cube net, two squares separated by exactly one square in a straight line become opposite faces when folded.
- In the left column 6, 4, 2, the square 4 lies between 6 and 2, so 6 and 2 are opposite.
- In the right column 1, 3, 5, the square 3 lies between 1 and 5, so 1 and 5 are opposite.
- That leaves 3 and 4 as the third opposite pair.
5 is beside 6 in the net, so it becomes an adjacent face, and 3 and 4 also touch 6 once the net is folded.
