According to the Census of 2011, which district of Madhya Pradesh is having the highest population of Scheduled Tribes?
Answer: A
The district with the highest Scheduled Tribe population is Dhar.
In the 2011 Census, Dhar district had the largest number of Scheduled Tribe persons in Madhya Pradesh, over 12 lakh, mostly Bhil and Bhilala.
Jhabua is the trap: it has the highest proportion of Scheduled Tribes, close to 87 per cent of its population, but fewer people in absolute numbers than Dhar. Dewas and Khargone have smaller tribal populations.
