From \(0.15x = 45\) we get \(x = 300\), and 35% of 300 is 105. Alternatively, scale directly: 35% is \(\dfrac{35}{15}\) times 15%, so the answer is \(45 \times \dfrac{7}{3} = 105\), which skips finding the number entirely.
